World Wide Web Consciousness

The worldwide web is taking control of the spirit of humanity. In fact, the web already has control over the collective consciousness of humanity as major changes in information consumption are shifting downward into an abyss of inaccurate and censored data. Those in control now have more power over a greater number of people thanks to the wizards (past and present) behind the Internet. What you need to do right now is find the command in your virtual reality manual that can teleport your mind back to reality.


The implications of this are quite profound when one considers what we are truly witnessing is the de-evolution of the 21st century human and the evolution of artificial life. To illustrate this phenomenon we only need to look at how technology is playing a more vital part in the creation and maintenance of our everyday consciousness. It is not just a matter of technology eliminating the mundane routines from our lives but also of technology thinking, creating, assembling or replacing the human way of life.


Self-aware consciousness is just around the corner for advancing technologies once a critical mass of complexity is reached in supporting artificial intelligence. Think about when the right amount of complexity is confined in a small enough space, the density of the information base that underlies the complex mass eventually creates self-awareness on the part of the structure in which the complexity is held. Not real enough for you. Well it happened to a carbon-based life form (human) why not a silicon based life form (computer). This is real and happening right under your web browser nose.


What do you think is the current rate for human biological de-evolution? It’s actually accelerating thanks to the Internet. It was over millions of years that the human species evolved from lower life forms to the point of self-awareness. Now it’s less than a decade with the Internet and the process of human evolution is reversing at an exponential rate. Follow the law of complexity and consciousness and you will recognize the fragmenting of a species into a shattered race of individuals with less communication skills on a personal level and even fewer skills to understand what is happening to cause this in their lives. This would imply that for the human species to evolve to its utmost limit it requires less interactive communications technology (Internet) and more face to face time with other human beings if human consciousness is to progress.
